The Ohio Business Brokers Association (OBBA) is a non-profit corporation founded in 1987. The term "Business Broker" includes individuals who are brokers, intermediaries, accountants, real estate agents and/or attorneys who provide a service that matches Business Owners with prospective Business Buyers. Business Brokers (aka "Business Intermediaries") work as consultants to Business Owners to find Buyers who are ready, willing and able to purchase the ownership of their business. Business Brokers also provide consulting to prospective Buyers who want to purchase a business that is a match for their skills, resources, interests and abilities.
The OBBA and this Internet-based multiple listing service serve as a communication network whereby profitable, on-going businesses that are currently for sale are listed by the Business Brokers so that information about the businesses for sale can be shared with prospective Buyers. The information is not complete; the network serves as an initial screening device to allow the prospective Buyer to know enough about the business opportunity so that, if interested, they would be motivated to phone or email the listing Business Broker, sign a Confidentiality Agreement and then obtain additional information.

One of the few credentialed professionals in the exit planning advisory arena, he is a passionate advocate of the proper positioning of a business for its sale. His experiences in exiting previous business ownership positions led him to appreciate the many intricate details essential to constructing a great deal.
Apolinario’s experiences include growing a Columbus-based technology company recognized by Microsoft as one of the “Top 10 partners in the Great Lakes region” and winning the Small Business Administration and Columbus Chamber’s Small Business Leader of Year Award in 2002. Apolinario's company was also lauded by Business First as one of the Fast Fifty companies three years in row and was one of Columbus’ 40 under 40 (Top 40 Professionals under the age of 40) and in 2003 he was recognized by the Asian American Commerce Group as one of the Top 3 Contributors to the Advancement of the Asian Community.
Apolinario is co-founder and President of International Resource Group, a licensee of the 250-office Sunbelt Business Advisors Network, an international organization specializing in the mergers and acquisitions industry.
